About Us
Azzurra Swimming Academy was founded in the aim of delivering premium swimming lessons in the heart of London. Our goal is to nurture a passion and appreciation for the sport of swimming in our students through the provision of high-standard technical caoching. The lessons are tailored to the specific needs of our students, and we offer private (one-on-one) lessons, or semi-private (two-three swimmers). All children over the age of 5 and adults are welcome!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ideal age for my child to start private swimming lessons?
Ideally children should start swimming lessons from the age of 5 or older.
How often should my child be training to see improvement?
For children aged 5 to 14, a 30 minute lesson a week is enough to see good progress in their abilities.
My child is a non-swimmer. How long will it take for them to be safe in the water?
This varies by child but generally, one or two terms is enough for a child to be capable of swimming confidently and safely on their own.
Can a competitive swimmer still benefit from private sessions?
Yes competetive swimmers can benefit from private sessions. Our coaches focus on perfecting techniques and any bad habits, even for high-level swimmers.
